Neptune's Army of Rubbish Cleaners with Keep Wales Tidy in Deep End

A clean up was carried out off the slip in Western Way Pembroke Dock on the evening of 17th April 2009 in association with Keep Wales Tidy and voluntary group Neptune's Army of Rubbish Cleaners assisted by staff from Keep Wales Tidy threw themselves into the task of cleaning up the slipway at Western Way in Pembroke Dock and jointly they removed nine trolleys, two bicycles, an office chair, pram, traffic cone and other various items from the muddy depths.
A skip was provided by Pembrokeshire County Council as part of the Tidy Towns project.

Are a voluntary group, which carries out underwater clean-ups SCUBA diving.  Since forming in 2005 we have successfully carried out 24 clean ups in Pembrokeshire.  The clean ups are similar to beach clean ups, but we work under the water.  Rubbish down here is unseen by most people, other than divers.  Underwater rubbish poses a threat to divers, as well as waterway users and marine life
